Just wanted to say Good Luck for tomorrow mate, I'm sure everything will be fine with your meeting, and you will be celebrating tomorrow night. Make sure you understand any modifications that are presented to you, before you accept, and let me know as soon as you hear anything. God I sound like your mother, don't I? - Good luck[:D][:D][:D]

Awwww thank you debbi, that means a lot.

Meeting is at 2, and it feels kind of weird at the moment knowing that my IP probably has a good idea whether my proposal is successful or not, and I don't.

I fully intend to review the modifications in detail before I decide to do anything, and as soon as I know, I will let you know!!

As for sounding like my mother - that is a scary thought debbi!!

Thanks for the help and support to you and everyone else, you have all been terrific to me and I do very much appreciate it. [:)][:)][:)]

I keep thinking things will be OK, then thinking what if they aren't. My IP was confident when I last spoke to her on Tuesday with an item of correspondence I had received (whether she knows something I don't, I'm not sure!)

The only doubt I have is re: MBNA, but I think if Halifax and HSBC vote positively, I just squeeze through with something like 75.2%, so fingers crossed on that front!

I just hope I can sleep tonight!!!!!

I know just how you are feeling. My meeting was on the 27th December and I bet my IP had all the votes before Christmas so you would have thought they could have let me know before. But no had to wait.
ALL THE VERY BEST OF LUCK FOR TOMORROW, My main creditor was the Halifax and they voted YES, through TIX.
I will be thinking of you all day, good luck and let us know how you get on.
Best Wishes
CAROL

TIX stands for the insovency exchange they vote on behalf of HSBC,HBOS,intelligent finance,m&s, RBS and first direct. At least i think they are the main ones.

Hi
just to reiterate the other messages. We wish you all the luck in the world tomorrow. You are right, this last 2 or 3 days before meeting is definitely the proverbial Emotional Rollercoaster, but just hang on in there. As Emma says, keep busy tomorrow morning if you can. We'll be watching for the good news.

Right, well this is as much of a surprise to me as it probably is you guys, but.............

........I have had an e-mail from my IP saying that TIX (Halifax and HSBC) have accepted my IVA, with modifications. The main one is that my payment goes from £210 to £270 (my IP and I had budgeted for this happening by allowing an extra £55 in my budget, so the raise is only effectively £5).

Other modifications seem standard (overtime, bonus, etc is 50% over and above anything more than 10% of my standard net pay).

I'm awaiting confirmation of the exact figures, but I think thats 75.14% of my debt, so regardless of what MBNA and HMRC do I think that means my IVA has been accepted, BUT I AM AWAITING CONFIRMATION OF THIS FOR DEFINITE. (To make sure this is definitely >75%)

So, I am reasonably happy, and will be delighted tomorrow if that is the way it goes!!

I am also pleased to learn that result - especially as you have been such a supportive forum member for others whilst you have been awaiting your own decision.

I just comment on the nonsense of IP's having to build in false expenditure, just so that certain creditor representatives can justify getting a higher return for their clients. This is a silly game, and it is giving a really wrong impression to the outside world of my profession.
