Hi all i completed a f&f settlement on our iva in sept 2007, just wondering and need advice really i work for the nhs, and have just taken over a new job within the community, it has come to light that due to the mileage i do every day/week/month that i am eligible for a lease car, my concern is do they perform a credit check on my name even though the lease car dept within the hospital organize everything and the monies owed every month is taken out of my pay by the nhs and not by a car company.

Hello.I have an IVA and an NHS lease car. As you say payment is taken straight from the wage. I'm not so sure they would do a finance check on you personally as the car will be owned by the NHS who are leasing it to you? I'm at the end of a 3 year lease and about to get a new lease car (thur). I don't remeber having to sign anything. My manager just had to confirm I was an essential car user . No sure I helped. Cat
