My IVA proposal meeting was scheduled for 10am this morning, It's now 11.40, still no contact, I've bitten my nails to the core - I cannot get hold of anybody at Clearstart, the 2 numbers I have for them either ring out or are engaged as they have been for almost 2 weeks now. I don't think, all round, this is a very good sign!

I suppose (Many thanks for your encouragement by the way!)- it just appears that many whom have a positive decision are informed very quickly following the meeting. I suspect they are thrashing out amendments! It's now 12.05...

Cheers Guys! caraf - who is your IP? Mine is Mervyn and the go-between administrator is Shane Smith. How have you found dealing with Clearstart in general?

My Ip is Alex Twitchen and my case manager is Matt Chandler and they have been very good and supportive. Although I do think their fees are a little high so I will be interested in your outcome ?? and what your fees are ?

I wish I had all the info to hand, but I'm sitting at my desk at work and all the paperwork is at home! My total debt is around £120K, yes I agree, the Clearstart fees are quite high - I will provide more detailed information when I get home. My creditors include Northern Rock, Halifax, Lloyds TSB, Barclays, Egg, Mint, Goldfish, Cahoot, American Express and Capital One... so quite a broad scope! A little worried about NR, but basically it's IVA or bankruptcy. My wife too had an IVA meeting at 10.15 - still no answer on that one, her debts total around £80K with a similar scope of creditors. Going in low at around 17p in the £ for my own IVA, this is nett of Clearstart fees, my wife is around 28p in the £.

Thanks Guys! I wish I had found this forum sooner, I'd have asked Melanie Giles to present my case! Do you know of any IVA's that have been re-proposed with an alternative company or IP?
