Well after the worry of the creditors meeting being adjourned because were were away, the day we got back, the meeting was held and i recieved the call to say our IVA had been approved. A couple of modification were needed, the main one being that my payments will be for 6 years where as my wifes will still finish after 5.
I cant complain too much, to be honest the amoutn we're for our combined iva is the equivilant of what i was paying for one of my credit cards. I know its going to be a long hard journey but at least I know what i have to aim for now.
The funny thing the only creditor to object or ask for ridiculous changes was a company working on behalf of santander whose percentage of our total debt was only about 3%.
Anyways thanks to everyone for the advice and support on here and i shall continue to seek more as i go im sure lol.
