I have been reading this forum non stop for months now. Today was my meeting date and my meeting was scheduled at 12. I was contacted at 10 am and informed it had been accepted. In brief I owed £44000 with 3 creditors. The main one was Northern rock who took up the 75% vote. This was a unsecured loan from the together mortgage. I no longer had a mortgage with them just a unsecured loan. I have read so many people being rejected by NR so I thought I would write this post. I did not expect them to say Yes but they have!!! The past two week have been so hard. I have been sick with worry and I have been horrible to be around!! Im not sure what I would have done without coffee and cigarettes!!! In short anyone worrying about Northern Rock PLEASE PLEASE contact Melanie Nicholas!!! She is an Angel in disguise!!!!! Thank You to Philip Gill and co. Thank you Susan Clay Tamsyn Jewell and Tomas Doster. I am forever grateful.

Fantastic news lifeline. That's 2 of us this week that I know of to get approval!! Now we can start the road to debt freedom!!

It. I was convinced NR would say No after reading so many things. I will now pay back 35p in the £1. It's a nice feeling knowing I have another chance!! Just goes to show there are people in the same boat and people that will help!!!!

Oh well done! I'm sooo very pleased for you! I'm due to have my meeting today at 3.50 apparently so please do keep everything crossed for me too!!!! perhaps i'll be the 3rd one this week thats approved - i certainly hope so!
