After two years of not getting any were with a debt management company that is now no more, im able to look forward in a iva and know that i will be free off all the call and letters,and pay my debts off.
This is my first post but i have been read others posts for some time, so thankyou to you all for advise you have given to other and in turn to me.I hope i can be of help to others now. [:D]

Im with Cleardebt and they have been great.Always very helpful and gave lots of advise.Not like the debt management company (DCM) i was with until they went under.

Cleardebt are well recommended on here and we do have a poster from there - Size5 posts regularly.

Congratulations Tony , you are on the right journey to being debt free.
The good thing is ,you are NEVER alone.
This site has kept many people , me included , sane when the dark clouds gather.

my first Xmas after iva accepted and we are doing OK by managing money in cash means we did manage Xmas boxes with out credit cards and catalogue like we have in the past,i hope that this will give other who may be thinking about doing a iva or just entering to one that there is a life after you enter a iva.good luck to every one in the new year,

A great update tonyr, I'm sure it will help others, the feeling of no bills post Christmas is a good one I do agree with that and there is life within an IVA x

My first Christmas as well on the IVA, and I did ok, (helped getting paid early! and only dipped in to it by £50) here's 2012 living within my means!! Good luck mate

Glad to hear it's going well, Tonyr. This was my second IVA Christmas and, once again, funded entirely from vouchers (see Kallis's blog for details). All the sweeter knowing I don't have to wait for the January credit card bills to hit the doormat:-)

brill your IVA was accepted[:)]

our 2nd Christmas in a IVA, we had a lovely time & managed treats. we've cut back on all family gifts.
the feeling of no bills in the new year is bliss.
