Hi Freddy well done on the IVA acceptance it is a relief I do know that much.

Chrismtas with 2 small children? have you tried ebay? I'm a new convert to ebay but so far I'm enjoying it. Some of our other posters with young children will be able to give you some tips I'm sure. My 4 have grown up and I now have grandchildren. x

Congratulations Freddy!

Keep your eyes open for cheap toy deals. The Sainsburys half price toys one has just finished but Argos have regular offers in the run up to Christmas.

We also buy odd things over the year. Usually starting in the January sales :)

Congratulations Freddy.

I agree with Lesley that Ebay is a good place to look, also Poundland, the local markets and even charity shops.

Well done Freddy on taking the next step on your journey to debt freedom. Regarding your question, the other way to look at this is whether you have any "stuff" that you could sell through eBay or a car boot etc. We're going to a table-top sale at our local school in a couple of weeks to shift some toys and stuff that our kids have long grown out of! Do you have any other stuff lying around the house that might have value? In the garage or loft for example? This way you can generate some extra cash to fund Christmas and other needs.

Your IP should be happy for you to keep this sort of income provided it doesn't turn into a business!

Congratulations freedy and best of luck with the creative ideas for Christmas - no matter what all the trimmings are I bet deep down this will feel like one of the best Christmases for a long time.

Best wishes,

Congratulations!!!

How old are the children? As the others have said, ebay etc is great! Also check out charity shops they bhave some great things donated.

If the children are into arts and crafts, you can't go wrong with "pound" shops...I have filled shoeboxes with crayons, notepads etc and made treasure chest for my granddaughters...I did the same for their Mums and they loved it!!
