I've had my iva accepted today,( i've gone through Grant Thornton). what happens next as one hour after finding out i had mercers acting on behalf of barclay card saying someone was calling for payment.

Hi, and congratulations on being accepted.
Ignore any calls from your creditors. Their computer systems will not have been updated yet. Do not make any payments to them, tell them you are now in an IVA, and if calls persist then inform your IP.

Congrats Sadyazz,
Mine to was accepted today n we had calls asking for paymenst today, told them we are now in iva, to update her computer system and stop calling as its legally binding.

Congratulations! Mine was approved last week. I haven't had any calls, but plenty of letters. A little part of me actually wants them to call, just so I can put them straight! Its all legally binding now, so as said, you can ignore them.

Congratulations Sady, welcome to the debt free highway. It's a long road ahead and I hope none of life's nasty little surprises hit you over the next 5 years.
