I am in the process of waiting for my creditors meeting, have debts of 40,000, I'm offereing 25p in the pound, to be perfectly honest I am not very confident it will be accepted and am willing if needs to be to make modifications, the company I went through have been excellent and they are confident it will go through I'm not so sure

Hi lynsey and welcome to the forum.
Have faith in your IP, as they would not have put this forward if they felt it was not going to be acceptable to your creditors.
In the event that there are creditor modifications on the day, then make sure that you are able to comply with these fully - especially if they are looking for additional money you cannot really afford. It is never too late to change your mind!

Just like to say had my creditors meeting this morning after a mix up of dates, was meant to be the 20th then got told it was the 22nd. They came back to me yesterday and said my IVA had gone through, then to get another phone call 20mins later to say that the meeting was set for today so had to wait until they seen if they had anymore votes come in. Got the phone call this morning to say my IVA had been accepted, honestly I can breathe a sigh of relief. Only 4 of my creditors voted and they all voted yes.
I was offering 25p to the pound so was very sceptical. Would like to thank everyone on here as reading everyones comments actually got me through this.
