Don't know if this is a good thing or a bad one, I know it's bank holiday weekend, but the phone has gone quiet! The only calls we have been getting are from Bank of Scotland (automated), Egg have stopped sending me e-mails and we have heard nothing from MBNA at all(ever).

Our meeting is on the 31st and we have only stopped paying our direct debits this month when told to do so by our IP. Could this be the reason why we aren't getting as much hassle because we are only just in arrears? The caller ID helps, we know BoS numbers off by heart now, Abbey have acknowledged us approaching a 3rd party and have sent us some really nice letters confirming this, maybe lulling us into a false sense of security [8D]

Just thought I'd ask as it appears some people are getting hammered constantly, excuse my ignorance, I'm crap with money [;)]

Hi Bot
I found that the calls stopped pretty much before the meeting, and was the same as you had only stopped that month, and as you mbna never contacted me once, hubby they did just the once from india, I dont think the bloke knew what an iva was and then told hubby to ring a number, which he didnt and never heard again.
So not that unusual. Nearly at the meeting now all the best.
