Will my partners credit rating be affected if I take out an IVA?
We both live at the same address.

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum
Your partner's credit rating should not be affected by your IVA, but if it is he/she can file a notice of disassociation from you with the credit scoring agencies which ought to do the trick.

Welcome to the Forum Mark,
If you enter an IVA your partner's credit rating will not be affected, if the credit agencey makes a mistake because you both live at the same address your partner's can always file for disassociation from your debts.

Hi
I know that an IVA should not affect a partners credit standing and that you can post a notice of disassociation but I wonder what the reality is ??
Can anybody, who has been in an IVA,give some feedback as to how it affected their husband or wife in relation to taking out credit
Thanks
