Hi bravo,

There are IP's who specialise in cases for the self-employed. Employed cases tend to be more straightforward.

Melanie is one of those specialists and I'm sure she'll be able to answer your questions for you very soon.

Hi bravo and welcome to the forum

The requirements are exactly the same as if you were employedL-

1 A real desire to pay your creditors as much as you can afford over a realistic time period
2 An ability to fund regular monthly contributions - so to this end you must have a viable business which is capable of making profits to substantiate the payments
3 A willingness to keep up to date with the filing of all post-IVA tax and VAT returns

And you will need to choose an IP firm with experience of self-employed cases. Not all of them do this sort of work.

You will likely need to show your Trading accounts for the last 3 years (if applicable), your latest Tax Statement and and will then complete a future trading projections document with your IP.
