Hi
I have in my proposal that I have to surrender my insurance policy to the Iva,Not a problem,However as yet I have not passed this onto the IVA firm,I Intend to do so obviously but it has sat in my bank account for a couple of months now and Ihave been very good and not touched it just using money from wages and have not touched it,I know I should have paid in by now however it was like having a comfort zone.I will be paying to the IVA firm this week,My question is will it effect my IVA in anyway that Ihave done this.
Thankyou for any replies.

I shouldn't think so. Contact your IP though and let them know what you are doing.

Did the IVA give any timelines for the payment over of the monies? If so make sure that you comply with this, and it just does not make sense to hang on to the monies when you know they belong to someone else!

Thanks for your replies
Andy I have really been disciplined and everytime I check my account online which is everyday I have my calculator to hand to take off the ammount off the total in the account.Like I said it seems like a comfort zone however I will be paying it over this week.
Melenie There is no mention of any time limit in the proposal or chairmans report. However you are correct and as above I will be paying this over.
Oliver thanks for your advice and promt reply.
