Hi Mark,

Many of these schemes operate under a restrictive panel of lenders which, depending on the list, could mitigate against purchase while in an IVA.

I'd suggest a call to a mortgage broker on this site (there's Tony (Welshboy) and Mike as well as myself) so that they can confirm whether or not this is a viable option for you.

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum - which homebuy scheme are you using?

If it is under the council RTB homebuy scheme there are not so many restrictions on lenders as there are under private schemes.
