My husband and I completed our IVA sept 07, we had a debt of 46k and remortgaged our house and offered 30k which our creditors accepted, my query is, we received the completion certificate but can the creditors have a claim years down the line or is the completion certificate now the end and we won't have any comebacks.

No - the completion statement is the definitive evidence that your debts have been written off - so long as you made sure all of them were included in the proposals.

Thanks Melanie, yes we included every single debt we had, can't believe how smooth it went, reading some of the horror stories about companies rejecting peoples IVA's my heart goes out to them but there's always light at the end of the tunnel, the 1st company we went with rejected our case, but they recommended another company called Simple Debt Solutions who were marvellous. and everything from remortgage to completion took 7 months.
