My grandfather died on Firday, we werent close he dint like me, i am going to the funeral out of duty more than anything, the worst part of it is the ambivalence i feel about him.

Thinking of you, its never easy when there isnt straigtforward feelings when someone dies, I hope that you come to find some peace with this.

I'm sorry to hear about your granddad Dominic. I can understand how you feel - I was never close to my nan and I only went to her funeral as my mum and dad couldn't (dad was disabled and mum was his carer). My dad told me I didn't have to go, but I felt I had too. I felt awful feeling like that, but I went and paid my respects as I knew that if I didn't I might regret it later.

As Lily says I hope you can find peace Dominic, and good luck x

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
