Following on from Whichwaynow's post about Loans.Co.uk and the possible on-selling of our information to third parties, is this something we should be alerting our IPs about? Do our IPs ever carry out credit checks against people in IVAs because surely "enquiies" about loans will show up on credit searches? Can anyone answer this for me please as I would have for my IVA to fail because my IP looked at my credit file and saw that I had been "applying" for loans.

Kind regards

Liz

IPs are far to busy to carry out unecessary credit checks, e.h - well at least this one is!! There is no point in doing this, as your credit file is impaired in any case, so more checks are not going to make any difference.

Okay Melanie - thank you very much for your prompt response as always. I was just a bit concerned as it does seem a little sinister that third parties have been sold details about people. Erm, when do you sleep?

Kind regards

I need a good 7 or 8 hours a night and I have been known to sleep for 12 or more at the weekend!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
