				Hello,
I received a letter from my IP today, stating that my IVA defaulted on the 18th September.
It enclosed a letter with summary of receipts and payments.
My creditors requested that my IP petitioned for my BR, however, as there were no funds remaining and the creditors were not willing to provide funds, my IP confirmed that he will not be petitioning for my BR.
Does anyone know what to do next - if anything????
Many thanks,

I petitioned for my own BR as I hadn't paid enough into my IVA to cover the IPs fees and the BR fees.
I would think (and I'm sure one of the experts will correct me if I'm wrong) that your options here are a DMP or to petition for your own BR.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

It sounds to me as if bankruptcy is a more sensible option for you - a petition will cost £485 at Court if you are working, but if on benefit you can get this cheaper.

				Hi,
Thanks for the help, Waiting for my pay and I will petition.
Although, I have one other question, what would happen if I did nothing?
Many thanks,

Your creditors would likely continue to hound and harrass you - just like they probably were before you entered into the IVA - and of course you now have no legal protection from their collection activities. I would never recommend doing nothing.
