Hi,
I have just been reading the postings about HSBC,I opened an account with First Direct last July,my IVA started in January 2007
will they give me the boot?I need an Internet bank, just as a precaution could anyone recommend an internet bank "sympathetic"to someone in an IVA. Would it be wise to open another account (if I can) and leave it dormant until something happens. When HSBC close an account do they give you some time to make alternative arrangements?

Hi allan

I suspect if they were going to give you the boot they would have done so by now. I would let things lie, but if they do terminate your account you will be given proper notice.
