Hi this is the first time i have written on this site. but it has been an inspiration to me since early January when I realised my debts were getting out of control. And i contacted Resolve UK which specialise in Military cases. It felt like a weight had been lifted as soon as I spoke to the advisor. That was on the 3rd of Jan and my creditors meeting is on 21st feb. My ip is McCambridge Duffy who have been very thorough. Has anyone had dealings with this company. My propsal is 46p in the £ for an £84k debt!!!!! still scares the life out of me when i write it down. Lastly I would like to thank all of you that have written posts in the last 5 weeks.

I am glad that you have found the forum an inspiration, and will make sure that the team who have been involved in putting it together are made aware of your comments. It is a great way of sharing information, and even we experts are learning new things from reading all of the posts.

The very best of luck with your proposal. Just remember that with Armed Forces personnel, your incomes and expenditure due fluctuate depending upon postings, LSA, local allowances and expenditure and travelling expenses. I also deal with a lot of service personnel, as a result of my own previous military service, and fully understand the need for flexibility.

This should have been carefully explained within your proposal documents so that creditor expectations are managed. As you know serving in Germany provides a greater remuneration package than for instance serving in Northern Ireland, albeit with the cuts in LSA currently being implemented the gap will narrow.
