I have opened a new bank account with the Abbey National, i have moved my direct debits to it except for one. I have pet insurance with Sainsburys bank, (they are also a creditor)will i still be able to keep on with it or will i have to change insurance companies?
I realise this is a stupid question when others have more serious issues.
thanks

Hi

I dont really know the answer but I do no think you would have any problem in changing it to another company, most offer immediate cover and then you do not need to worry about buying from creditors, you could also just cancel it with Sainsburys

I dont know if this helps but I have home insurance with tsb and have not had to change but I did change the debit to my new account as obviously they were going to close my bank account because of the iva .

Your pet insurance should be safe, but do check with the insurance company to be sure.

Absolutely no worries with this. The pet insurance is run by one of the major insurance companies with Sainsburys just a name on it.Bit like buying own label bread, its the same as a branded product. If you changed you,d probably end up with the same company just different name.
