Hi, we have an IVA supervised by MCCambridge Duffy. My husband has just been offered a job in Canada and we were wondering what would happen with our IVA if we moved there.
Thanks for your help

You could possibly continue this arrangement if your income and expenditure in Canada allowed for this.

Hi Shaaron,

If your income and your expenditure changes you will need a variation meeting. But theres no problem with moving to Canada and having an IVA in the UK.

Welcome to the Forum Shaaron,

I would discuss this with your I.P as soon as possible, it is likely that you can move to Canada and continue to pay your IVA. Just make sure that you will still be able to afford the payments and remember you will have the extra expense of a transfer fee.

Best Regards. IVA Experts

Hi everyone

Thanks for all your advice. Sadly we would not be able to afford to pay the IVA if we moved to Canada as I would not be able to work so my husband has turned down the job [:(]
