Hiya everyone,
I have been a member of this forum now for a few months, it has now become my daily read (as im sure it does others), it has made me realise that i am not on my own and has enabled me to ask all the questions ive always wanted to know. So a big thank you to every one and all your advice.

I got myself into debt of approximately of £20,000- this consisted of many factors, mostly stupidity. i decided IVA was the best route after talking to debt matters, i was very scared and didnt tell a soul. I have now been making monthly payment for the last 2years - although i live on a budget, i have never been happier. i am for once living within my means.

I have informed my finance of the situation and he brought me a car recenty, my iVA has been recalcualted to include insurance and tax. We are currently looking for a house, with him puting down the deposit. My IP has been completely helpfull - if i email him- he will come straight back to me.

I have also spoken to the morgage expert on this forum who has been great help and who i will be speaking to again shortly.

and also another expert who managed to sort out insurance for me to pay my IVA in case of redundancy or sickness.

So thank you to every one- and hopefully these next few years will fly by and i will be debt free.

Thank you everyone

Hi
I think we will frame this one so that we can look at it and remind ourselves just why IVAs were introduced and just how they should be administrated.
