What kind of searches do the Official Receivers untertake once you are declared bankrupt...

What sort of searches do you mean? They will certainly conduct a land registry search to see if you own any properties.

Thank you for your reply...I do not own any properties...my main concern is that I have tried to hide these debts from my family...therefore all debts are to a correspondance address I've held for a few years...I'm worried that because I wasn't actually living there I will get into trouble.

Just explain this to the Official Receiver. I do not really feel that this is a problem, so long as you have some form of connection with the address your mail has being going to.

The only connection with the mailing address is exactly that. It is an office support company that forward and collect mail etc...do you still think that it is unlikely to be a problem? Regards
