Hey all, am I being thick?! I created an account on Friday but of course didn't keep a note of my password. I've just tried to log in now to write my blog and I requested a new password. This was emailed to me, I put my username and password in but it's still coming up as invalid password? I've done this four times now, each time with a new password. Am I doing something wrong? Help please![:I]

Ok, I may have sorted that bit, now how do I start writing?![:I]

Just press the login button at the bottom of the page - then you should get a page up that asks if you want to type a new post.

See if that works. If not, I'll write a step-by-step

Ah thanks Suzanne, I thought I was sorted, but I'm not. I can't log in, it says my password is incorrect. I keep trying to reset and I am logging in using the passwords that they are sending, but it's still not working!!! Not sure what to do.[:(]

Are you using the password that you were sent for the blog - it's different to the one for the forum?

Yes, they have sent me a password, numbers and letters. I've put each one in and they have not worked. Sorry to be a pain, I'm sure It must be me doing something wrong!

Did you click on the link on the original e-mail to activate your blog?

Are you copying the password exactly? uppercase etc? what about your username? I can't use stressed_suzanne because of the character. Is it maybe the same with the fullstop?

Well, I just used Viki as it wouldn't let me use the full stop. I think it's something to do with the activate so I've emailed Admin to see if I can start from scratch. Trust me to not be able to do this!!! Thanks for your help Suzanne. I'm hopeless!

I think its a blip with the blog login. That happened to me and I even used to copy and paste the user and password from my email !

Admin soon sorted it out though. Can't wait to read your blog

I had this problem as well - I tried using Skippy13, but it had to be changed to skippy13 as the system won't accept capital letters. It's not something you can change, Admin will have to sort it out for you x

Thanks for your help everyone. I've written the first installment! Crikey, that sounds like it's an epic, it probably is and boring as hell, but I always wanted to write one. It's all ready to be pasted in, I'll just wait for Admin to help me......again!
