Bad news I'm afraid My application has failed-unfortunately Nr said no as they were 40% + Synergie are putting me in touch with a company called debt care their sister Company. Looks like ten years in a plan. Really p@#@#D off.

Sorry to hear that Lendusaquid. Has your IP asked NR why they rejected the IVA as apparently they have to give a reason.

Nr were not interested due to the amount-Dmp seems the only reallistic option-it feels like a real waste of time at the mo-I had a perfect credit record never missed a payment-not took into account-never missed a mortgage payment ever.

Sorry to hear this lendusaquid. One possibility could be to do a dmp and when the new siva comes in which will only require a 50% plus approval you could then try for that . You have done your best, be proud.

lendusaquid - wait to see if an expert can advise you of the next step. Did you pay 2.5K upfront fees? If so will these be reimbursed as the IVA was not accepted?

no most will be used up as fees for Synergie-if any left ill be passed to dmp if taken up.

Hi
Maybe a lesson for anyone contemplating an IVA not to make more than two payments before the IVA is agreed. In this case Synergie have covered their costs and Lendusaquid is back to square one with £2500 not going towards their debts.
If you have NR as a majority creditor I would strongly recommend using a company that has a high acceptance rate with NR.
regards

Lendusaquid, sorry to hear about your IVA, that's a real bummer!
I'm with Payplan as well, though mine is an IVA. They don't charge you for a DMP either as the creditors pay for it.
As aguise says, the new SIVA's are due to come in shortly. You could try again then.

lendusaquid, I'm so very sorry about your IVA. Is there no hope of NR changing their minds? X

So sorry to hear that, lendusaquid. Is it worth you trying again with another IP who won't require upfront fees and who has a good record with NR?
