i have read somewhere (cant remember where now) that if you have a credit card from before april 2007 you can get them written off is this true?
i think it was apr 2007 could be wrong

There is a Radio advert about this also. I think it is a similar thing to how they advertise IVA's - get all your debt written of type of thing..........probably a catch X

Looking at the website this seems to be the catch:

New clients not proceeding with a mortgage, secured loan or motor finance review will be charged a review fee of £495 for the first credit card review and any further credit card reviews are at the discounted rate of £125. Successful claim fees of £250 plus 30% of the total claim will apply

Seems bit iffy to me

The £495 fee is the amount they charge for br, so it probably is something like that.

Best avoided anyway.

Sounds well dodgy, I'm with Jan if you could wipe out debts that easily there would be no need for BR or IVA.

Having said all that, Ofcom have rules about advertising on the radio, so surely the radio stations would have checked this out to ensure they don't get in trouble with Ofcom for broadcasting it.
