Hi All

I have just started in March 08 my iva and i got a 3% pay rise in July 08 which works out only £47 net pay extra a month....I'm with clearstart and when i asked about payrise when my proposal was agreed with the creditors he said ( If i can remember correctly) anything above your 10% net pay is split 50/50. I could be wrong!!! I have looked on the proposal but nothing mentioned only bonus and comission.

Also my personnal tax code will be changing government request in Sept giving me extra pennies not alot but again this is not payrise, bonus or commission or is it?

I have tried calling clearstart but no answer because i'm now with DFD trying to get hold of them they say they are waiting to allocate me a supervisor even though that shouldn't make a differance...

hi i wouldnt worry with all the increases petrol, food etc etc i would think you will need a payrise of 25% to be able to add any extra a month to the iva,i got 75 after tax and they didnt want a penny

I would be amazed if any pay rise(under 5%) couldnt all be used up under new expenditure ie fuel, utility bills etc.

Ips would not even be looking at anything that is an 'inflationary increase'....I don't know of any employees apart from haulage drivers[holding the country to ransum} getting anything above 10% or cabinet minister who feverishly voted themselves 16%?

As for the change in taxcode, everyone earning under 40K will get the extra 90 pounds in Sept and then a tenner extra till Apil 2009......Ips wouldn't touch that...chill out and enjoy the Olypmics

Sorry - how do you know IP's won't touch the £90 we're all getting ???? Iwouldn't be surprised if it isn't classed as a windfall!

luluj you are usually allowed a £500 windfall before having to pay anything over. I have emailed my IP just to be on the safe side and am awaiting a reply.

tigger72, welcom to the forum. I've not heard about the 10% and then 50/50 split with a payrise, only overtime and bonuses.
