lost my job a few months ago,got way behind with bills & got a ccj as a result.can i still do an iva?

Have you found another job yet? If so, can you provide me with the following information:-

1 How much do you owe in total
2 What is your disposable income
3 Do you owe anything to Northern Rock or HSBC, and if so how much.

yes i have just started a new job,owe approx 40k,no i do not owe to n/r or hsbc.thanks

Then it looks as if an IVA would work for you Rob. Seek specific advice from an insolvency practitioner or debt management specialist.
