I have been in an IVA for nearly 5 months, all is going well.
My son ( 16 ) has recently started a part-time job, he has just applied for a bank account. Will the fact that our address is linked to my IVA be a problem for him?

It shouldn't effect him.
The IVA is a flag against you not the address.

This will not affect your Son. Your Son will not be able to apply for credit until he is 18 and if he then chooses to do so and finds there is a problem with his file because of your IVA he will be able to ask the credit agencies to disassociate himself from your debt.
Best Regards

Great news...Money gives people - both young and old - decision-making opportunities. Educating, motivating, and empowering children to become regular savers and investors will enable them to keep more of the money they earn and do more with the money they spend.
Good luck to your son with his first bank account and his new job.
Kind regards,
Julia
