I've got a surreal sense of calm, the cooker's been broken for the last 4 weeks so we are managing with a slow cooker and hob, we have a leak in the roof and it is looking like it will cost about £600 to repair, the house is soo untidy and my daughter just keeps singing 'whats the story in balamory etc' over and over again I'm not concerned about any of it! I know we can't do anything about the first two just yet except make do with the same old food and a bucket to catch the drips because just started the IVA so no money in the contingency fund, but it is only a matter of time and good budgeting!!

I think I am all worried out if you know what I mean. We have struggled with everything for so long that now I know I don't have to struggle with CC and finding a solution because the only solution is to put up with things a bit longer and not to worry about finding payments. We still have heat, hot water and food and a happy healthy little girl - talking a bit too much sometimes but it would be new thing to worry about if she didn't!

Good for you coupleplus1 - great attitude, hope the kitty builds up enough soon to enable you to get the roof sorted

I know the feeling too, when things go badly I just think of all the worry I had before and it never seems so bad.
Tell your little girl i like balamory too, except for the nursery teachers hair. lol She's happy and thats all that matters.

this is the strange thing, I don't think she has ever seen balamory. She's never seen it at home and I'm sure the nursery she is at doesn't show it!

We have to watch it with the 2 yr old grandaughter, it amuses me to watch my husbands face, he thinks all the kids programmes are mad and cant understand why they get paid, he likes justin though cant remember the programme.
That song will go on in your head for ages , now i'm doing it lol
