Just a quick reminder to everyone not to go back and edit a post once it has been answered, as it can make the posts after it look stupid and meaningless.

If anyone needs a reminder of the forum etiquette, it can be found here:

Thanks for the reminder Skippy. I have to admit I am guilty of editing when I spot my spelling mistakes. I type too fast [:I]

I will not edit again [:D][:I]

I didn't mean spelling mistakes! Occasionally people delete part or all of a post after it's been replied to and it makes the replies look daft.

Don't worry about editing spelling mistakes!

Sometimes people add to a post as well once someone has replied, and this can also make later comments look stupid.

Spelling mistakes are no problem to go in and change.

Phew [:D]... I add another post if I want to add to my original comment.

I agree with editing to add/delete comments it could confuse.

Always worth a reminder to existing and new posters, thanks xx

Same with me Julie - if I've forgotten something then I do another post, if the fingers have been too fast for the keys then I will go back and alter that.

[:D][:D]

It's just the confusing ones which are a pain.

What is also a nightmare is when posters totally delete their entry after someone has posted. Then we have't a clue what has been said or what the reply was about.

That's an even bigger no-no than just editing.

I'm not bothered about the spelling and grammar of posts as I know there are many factors as to why these aren't correct so long as I can get the gist of the post then I'm happy.

I do agree that deleting the content or part content of a post can put everything else out of context.

Perhaps you would like to share it with us then? I have no idea what that is about either.
