Ah thanks for thinking of me Trickles. Well, I wnet round to her house yesterday with some paperwork she had requested and she said she was speaking with her cousin who is HIGH up in Bank of Ireland! I haven't heard anything today, which I thought I would, so everytime the phone goes, I'm all nervous. Unfortunately, the only bloomin people to phone today has been Barclaycard and Halifax. I can't wait for this to all be over.
Your post really means a lot to me, without all your support I don't know where I would be! In a very dark place I think!!!![:I]
I'll update you when I hear.
Hope everything is ok with you, how's the old IVA working out for you?

Hello again Viki, just got back to work from lunch break. I work at a school and we have ofsted in at the moment, so everyone is rather stressed!
I'm glad to hear that your news is not negative, so I will continue to keep my fingers crossed for you.
We are waiting to make our first payment, I thought it was going to be on the 15th May, but they have yet to take it. Maybe it's because they didn't except our IVA until 13th - thats what I keep telling myself. I'm sure they will take it soon or be in touch, one or the other. Congratulations by the why with your lottery win, that was handy!
I kept getting calls from Halifax, but didn't answer them, they kept leaving messages to ring them back, but I never did - they've stopped ringing for now. Barclaycard are being a pain though, they keep ringing hubbies mobile, where they got his number from I'll never know, but I have now stored the number on his phone, so now when they ring it comes onto the call display so he doesn't answer them. He did try to ring them back once, but had this automated answer service that wanted so much detail for him to enter onto the keypad of his phone, he gave up and hasn't bothered since, but they keep ringing!

Trickles, I'm a bit worried about the phone calls now as I don't know how long it will be before IVA, I want to answer them and they have all been ok....so far! I have just read too much on here about them getting nasty and I'm dreading that. Good luck on making your FIRST payment, one down eh? [:D] Viki X

Hi Viki, try not to worry too much about the phone calls. Are you paying anything whilst your waiting for your IVA, a token payment? or have you been advised not to? With ours we did manage to pay most of them the minimum payment before our proposal went through, but had to have waiting another month then we wouldn't of been able to - it was either the credit cards or the mortgage. Hubby did speak with Barclaycard and explained that we were going through the process of an IVA, but she told him that it didn't matter and he still had to pay the money - she was quite rude to him. Since then he hasn't answered any of their calls. Fortunately, we have call display, so I don't answer 'witheld numbers or out of area'.
I know this doesn't help you much, but lets just keep our fingers crossed for that offer soon. x

Thanks Trickles. I can't offer anything because I'm making a loss in the business so really just living off working tax credit! I'm hoping I hear something this week, I hope so, I need to sleep!!!! Viki X
