hi melanie
i am still worrying that amex are taking us to court to put a charging order on our house, do you think i should ring liz tomorrow as she should have the paperwork and ask for the court details to ring them or am i worrying unecessarily! its just the last thing i want is for them to put an order on the house and then we have to fight to get it removed!
sorry to bother you but it is playing on my mind!

Hi Barb,
We had a problem with Amex before our IVA and they not only threatened with a charging order, we did not have a CCJ, but then were going to make my husband bankrupt, or so they threatened!
We had a good IP, and I am sure you do to if you are with Melanie, and all action was stopped pending our IVA decision.
Try not to worry as I am sure it is all in hand, but if you are anything like me you will worry untill everything is signed and agreed.

Sorry Barb,
I may be wrong here but, if they were awarded an charging order then surely that would put them in a unfair position with all your other creditors,
I would call Melanies team in the morning to put your mind at rest. good luck with it all.

Yes - you are worrying unduly, but I will make sure that this is looked into for you tomorrow and we will write to the Court dealing with the charging order to let them know that you are in an IVA including this debt. Liz will also speak to Amex as well.

Hi Barb,
Have just been doing some research which might put you mind at rest.
Even if a charging order is granted it will have been done in error. Have a read of this
http://www.mccambridgeduffy.co.uk/Charg ... guide.html
Hope this helps,
Kirsty

Hi Barb
This kind of thing is always a worry isn't it [:(]
It takes a little while for these kind of things to go through the process and it seems as if Melanie is on top of it for you ... so I wouldn't worry too much [:)]

How are you feeling Barb? Has Melanie made you feel any better? I know what you mean about worrying, it is an awful time for you and although everything is really all sorted for you, it doesn't stop you thinking the worst. Monday tomorrow...you can have it all sorted. Thinking of you. Love Viki X
