I thought that once your IVA had been accepted that the creditors weren't supposed to contact you. Hubby has received several calls from Barclayard on his mobile (don't know where they got his number from). Our IVA was accepted on Tuesday afternoon and Barclaycard rang him 4 times yesterday. He did speak to B/card on Tuesday when they rang and informed them that our IVA had been accepted, but the woman was so rude to him and told him that it didn't matter, he still had to pay some money - he hung up! Since then he has not answered their calls or returned their messages.

It will take some time for records to be updated, so you do have to be a little patient and things will evenutally calm down. No need for the creditors to be rude though.

The caller was probably upset that she wasn't going to meet her targets! We only had one from Mercers and they were quite happy when I told them about the IVA.
Just tell them that they can't hound you for payment anymore. All your creditors will get a copy of the chairmans report in due course anyway.
Alternatively, do what your hubbie did and just not answer the phone. They will soon stop anyway.
