Are you still in an IVA or have you filed for bankruptcy?

i have applied for bankraptuancy with a firm called fjf back in november. i have sent them everything they asked for, but they never seem to contact me, i have to ring them all the time. It should have gone to court in march and from what i heard just lately they did not as far as im concerned, told me everything of the bad points about bank raptuancy i am getting a bit concerned plus still waiting for synergi to release my final papers.- i am sure it dont take 7 months to do this. need help!

Hi
Have you paid any money to this company ?

Why don't you just file for your own bankruptcy? A very simple process and probably much cheaper.

so sorry but have to say good old synergi again not that it helps you, please put in a complaint to their governing body this company has to be made to come to book, how many more people are going to be diddled by them?

If only people knew their own rights with this.

How many more people indeed Kerri, I wonder how they manage to hold a licence????

How can honest people address debt issues with rip off merchants like this????

hi yes i have paid money to fjf £2500. £1000 of this was court fees as they told me it costs £500 each for me and the wife for court costs. last time i rang them up which was about 6 weeks ago they now tell me that its gone up to £560 court costs for each person also i was promised that they would keep in touch on a regular basis i dont think they contacted me once i also was promised that they do not take any assets from you ie furniture, car etc this was one question i specficully asked before taking this out but apperently alot of this was false as i found out still waiting on synergi for default notice thanks

I would ask for your money back and do it yourself. The Court costs are £495 per applicant, and there is no need to have professional support for filling out a couple of simple forms.

They dont care and want money, they are maggots. I hate posts like this, it isnt fair how these people get away with it. Their name should be cowboy, cut your losses and go and do this yourself then try and get your money back, through the small claims court. They are trying to cash in on your debt stress and fear of BR.

hi rang them 4 days ago they are still waiting for the default letter from synergi as they tell me they cant proceed without it. question can fjf proceed without this letter or can synergi be forced to send this letter by fjf? this is getting very nerve racking for me and the wife. i did ask them about the refund so i can go out alone so it is quicker they said it is not possible as the delay is with synergi and not them. thanks sorry i been along time in replying

It's your money - tell them you want it back as they have not done anything for you.

On a personal note, I recently had to help an old friend of mine file for bankruptcy, and I have to say that having attended the court and hearing with her, it was all relatively painless.

I cannot envisage circumstances in which I could consider charges of £1500 for something that you can do for yourself (except in the most complicated of cases) to be anywhere near fair and reasonable.

You may wish to take further advice.
