Exactly. Look how many millions of dollars people pay for a loaf of bread in Zimbabwe. We'll need a wheelbarrow to carry the money around at this rate!

We are in the last chance saloon, everybody has already if not going to have to do it - printing more money - Argentina, Japan,US and now UK.
My predictions:
Watch interest rates go UP and deflation go up back to the norm gradually. Looks like those mortgage discount interest rates wouldn't last after all.No one surely thought the government would just sit idle, they have an election to win!
In principle I have to vote for the move to print more real bank notes

As Animaleyes says it's been proven that printing more money doesn't work.
It's all very well printing the money, but are we actually going to see any more of it, or will it just end up being more in taxes for the government so they can repay their reckless borrowing?

I don't really fancy having a £1 million pound in my purse which is worth less than the paper it is printed on! Mind you, perhaps we could all have designer wheelbarrows to push it round in.
Interest rates will go up eventually - that's a certainty, but not in the near future. The economy is doomed for at least the next 12 months. Deflation hasn't yet kicked in but probably will and I think it will be even sooner if we print more money.
The sooner Gordon Brown sees the writing on the wall and goes, the better.

We all have to wait and see in this blind roller coaster ride to get out of monetary hell. Fate is in God's hands you could say.We are all blind and have been in circles till now.

I think I remember in school that the Germans printed more money in the war and it didnt work. I wonder if Gordon did that at school? He seems like a bit of an idiot to me.

Lets get the Tories back and we can all have a rest from working, live in tents and get in line for our daily soup.
Beware of what you wish for as it has a habit of biting you.

I don't believe anything any political party tells me, but I'm willing to give the Tories a chance again. Gordon Brown is the biggest waste of space ever, and if the Tories have problems - it's because of the legacy of the labour party.
