Have I missed something? What were the threads?

They were new ones started last night by the same person using different names from the same computer, all posted within a few minutes of each other.

They were locked.

I agree Viki - we need Jan's eagle eye on the forum! No-one wants to see posts from spammers, abusive posts or time wasters like the posts last night.

I didn't see last nights shenanagins so can't comment, but I have seen lots of examples in recent weeks, usually on a wednesday or thursday afternoon, where a whole raft of new questions by new users are posted one after the other, bang, bang, bang, some of them really quite daft, sometimes even deliberately provocative.

Very strange.

Regards.

When I logged on last night there were maybe 10 or 12 first-post questions all with just the 1 post. Within a matter of minutes, Jan had posted a reply to all of them!!! Her keyboard must have been on fire. I posted responses to a couple, not so much because of the wisdom a could spread but to give Jan a chance for a breather. She and Plasticdaft then spotted something was amiss and prompt action ensued.
