Good luck Mr & Mrs Wen. I was dreading mine but it really wasn't as bad as I expected, and the relief when it was over was great!

Hi Wen
Hope it goes well.
Take a copy of the statement of affairs with you, and a note pad .
Don'r be surprised that as a business is involved that you may need to forward additional information to them in due course. Also not uncommon for you to be asked to go back in to sort out / catalogue any documents that they have from a business.
The interviewer will write down everything you say ( it is the way that they compile your statement so nothing to worry about). They will also ask you to sign a couple of forms - 1 is a letter of authority allowing them to speak to the tax man and claim any refunds that you might be entitled to - other one is a form describing the do's and don'ts i Br.
If you have a car they will tel you that you don't own it anymore - but don't panic as this is standard - provided that you can demonstrate that it is required to get to and from work then they will ask you if you would like to request it be excluded from Br.
If you have a property they will also explain the beneficial interest situation and how it works.
They are not trying to trip you up and the guys i that office are really quite reasonable.
Good luck and get a good nights sleep.

Thanks all for the good wishes.
Things went ok, not as bad as we thought, but still quite sad/sickening having to relive and try to justify all the events/credit running up the bankruptcy. Hopefully they won't think we were irresponsible, as we don't want to be in any trouble, and we genuinely thought we could repay our debts until we lost our business.
I will update my blog in a day or two to report back on events, so keep your eyes peeled!
