hi everyone,
i had a letter today saying < NOTICE WARNING OF LEGAL PROCEEDINGS >
if i dont pay my outstanding balance by Aug 9th they will start distraint action aginst me and seize my possesions and sell them at public auction , does anyone know how long i have got , my IP is currently putting a proposal together and it will be at least 3 weeks before a iva date . i owe them £4800

I would have thought that the timescale would be OK - but your IP needs to liaise carefully with HMRC as an Interim Order may well be required here to stop the suggested legal action.

Well you have until at least 9 August from the sound of the letter.
