Me and my wife had our iva approved in march by payplan, This could be a silly question but is it possible for me to go self employed in any way.Were employed at the moment. I take it the main problem would be getting the bank account.

Hi gizmoguy and welcome to the forum

There is nothing to stop you going self-employed whilst in an IVA, so long as your drawings from the new business would be equivalent to you current salaries. You would also need to put money away for your annual taxes as well.

Would you necessarily need a new bank account during the early days?
