I have been under IVA for 2. year now just started my 3rd year.
I want to tranfer my account from HSBC to Lloyds Tsb. How easy would it be? Lloyds TSB was one of my creditors under my IVA

I doubt very much lloyds TSB will give you an account if they are one of your creditors bound by the IVA. Even if you had an account with them i doubt it will be open to use any longer.

Why would you want to change from HSBC?

Regards

I would recommend opening a Cashminder account with the Co-op if they weren't one of your creditors as HSBC have a policy of closing the accounts of people in an IVA.

Nationwide are another one to consider as well, they are pretty good.

I am starting a business and have a fantastic business idea. LLOYDS TSB has offered me a business account and a large amount of business loan under the small firm loan guaranteed, but have asked me to transfer my personal account with them as a condition. I don't know how to get round that. Have tried to get a basic account open but they rejected me. someone advise to do a transfer of account instead and may be it would be possible. Any advise?
