Hi, I am looking to go this route but I have a number of questions to see if this is the only option left open to me. My outgoings are now overtaking my income and I need to take drastic action as I can no longer survive. I need to understand the process, how quickly it can happen and what the real implications will mean for me.
Many thanks

Hi Caroline and welcome to the forum

The best thing to do would be to have a chat with an insolvency practitioner to see what your options are. At this time it is best to discover whether you have a debt management problem or a real debt problem. There is a difference, and the former can be turned around perhaps with a little more care in budgeting, whereas the latter may require you to be more proactive and enlist the assistance of a professional who can run through the options with you.

Hi Caroline ... just wanted to welcome you to the Forum.

Do make a call to a few IP companies and look at all the options. You could do a lot worse than to contact a few the 'experts' who post on the Forum here [:)]
