we have received a large gas bill we are four months into our iva what should we do

I would discuss this with your IP and send a copy of the bill as proof if you need to.

I'm actually on a pre paid meter which i feel is better that getting bills. Are you in an area where you can do that?

We have agreed a set amount per month with the gas company - we recently had the quarterly statement and we are £65 in credit - this is good to know so when we get to winter we can at least have the heating on and not worry about the cost

Are you paying by standing order on a monthly basis? If not, this could be a good idea to spread your payments out evenly over the year, especially when fuel prices are at an all time high.
