Presuming that everything goes smoothly how quick can the IVA process be? Does it depend on your IP?

I am still at very early stages of returning my paperwork (all on order!). Just wondering what comes next - if there is a lorra waiting about for things to happen.

*sigh* when your just starting 6-8 weeks feels like a lifetime...

Hi
I think that once your proposal is ready your IP has to give your creditors at least 17 days notice for a meeting.
I guess the quickest that it can be from initial contact to agreement is about 4 weeks, the average is 8 to 12

Hi we are with Melanie and we contacte her in April and she should have received our signed proposal today - not long really.

We had the added complication that NR is one of our creditors.....

I try to work on 6-8 weeks from the receipt of a complete set of documents, but this can be shorter or longer depending upon the complexity of the case.
