My payments of £50 each seem to be covering the bills at the moment. We went on capped prices back in April/May. One of the perks of the son working for EDF is that we get to know when they are changing the tarrif deals.

The cost of living or should I say surviving is getting out of control. It's becoming harder and harder to budget as everything is going up constantly. I dread to think where it will end and how many of us will be effected badly by it all.

I have just gone onto both Tesco and Asda online shopping, and put in my weekly shopping. Tesco has worked out at £10 dearer than Asda for the same stuff!

Yeah Jan, I really do think that Asda are trying their best, not before time though! There seem to be much more offers instore, on essential items which makes all the difference, we can get by without '3 for a tenner' plonk but toilet rolls are a must!!1 lol

Tesco claim they are helping by making the veg and fruit cheap, but when i went there this week the mince had gone up from £1.60 to £1.99 and my washing tablets had gone up from £1.58 to £1.98 and thats just an example there were other price increases to. So to cap it all they are not really helping at all.
