Well, what a start to the day! Got a phone call from my brother that dad visited, looked like he was having stroke, panicked and got into his car and drove off!
So I went to find him --- and there he was, driving, in a very wavy line, three miles an hour. Nearly ran me over as I tried to stop him! Eventually with the help of my brother in another car, we got him to stop using a shorthand TPAC manouvre and have bundled him off to hospital in an ambulance!
Brother is with him now as I can't sit in A&E all day with a 6 year old!

JUst got back from the hospital -- he is as bright as a button (albeit an old one) now. They confirmed he had a TIA and will be keeping him in for a while for further tests --- but his inner teenager is bursting to get out

Well, he survived TB as a 7 year old, the luftwaffe shot him down a couple of times, he landed with a german bomb hanging out of his fuselage, escaped from occupied France, survived an aortic aneurism 15 years ago and pneumonia at age 88. A mini stroke at 89 is nothing

Just another day.
