What is it about toilet roll holders that prevents a new roll being put on when the old one runs out ?
Seems I am the only one in this household who can manage it !

But even worse is when people replace it and put it on the holder the wrong way!

In our house the paper has to come over the top - I have been known to change it in other peoples's houses!

Mine goes the other way around, and as I am the only one who puts them on there, there's no problem with that !!!

Not even got a holder in my downstairs bathroom, in fact not got a window that opens, hardly any tiles on the walls or a bath panel on and it's been like that since before the IVA. First job to do when IVA completes!

Our holder has a little lip that only allows the roll to turn one way, so no choice.

I'm an over the top girl myself. Also, someone in my mums house actually drapes the last sheet back over the empty roll rather than put a new one on! Which i guess means Its not empty anymore but how annoying is that?

I am the only one who seems to know how to do it at work as well - sometimes I have even gone there to see a fresh roll balanced on top of the holder [:(!] (I am an "over the top" person too)
Some of them evidently also have "magic" crockery and cutlery that jumps into the dishwasher all by itself, and then jumps out and into the cupboards afterwards, as only 2 or 3 of us seem to empty it in the morning [:D] I find this annoying as we don't even have a dishwasher (nor the room for one) at home, yet I don't consider myself exempt from taking a turn emptying the one at work because of that.
