I currently have a mobile phone that doesn't work as we have no signal in our area and my laptop has crashed 3 times!
Back in the credit days I wouldn't have thought twice about replacing the laptop and getting a new mobile contract but obviously things have changed now!
Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Dave is going to be looking at the laptop and the mobile phone is unfortunately dependent on Vodafone! I may be finding out how much it will cost to terminate my contract early!

Strangely enough, daughter is with Vodaphone and has no signal when she is at her parents-in-laws house.

O2 and 3 are both supposed to have good coverage. I'm with O2 and usually get coverage where my boyfriend's Orange and Vodafone phones don't.

I've never had a problem with Vodafone until the last few weeks and I've been told by customer services that there is a mast down and by the store that they are doing upgrades.
I'm probably going to be limited to T Mobile if I change because my BR is still on my credit file but we have now got a T Mobile PAYG SIM and the coverage seems pretty good here.

So annoying skippy, my computer is always crashing or is so slow i just give up! thank goodness my mobile works and i have very good coverage with O2.
the funny thing is i have a small amount of savings at the moment, possibly enough to buy a cheap new tower, but i just cant justify parting with my money when i can do the same job with my mobile

Think thats a lesson well learnt!
hope you get yours fixed soon i would be lost without either.

Unfortunately Dave thinks it's a hard drive issue so I'm going to have to do something about it! Luckily he's good with computers and if it can be fixed I know he'll be able to do it. I can do a lot of things on my mobile but I've got all our wedding planning stuff on here so I do need my laptop.
The mobile phone is a bigger problem...

Skippy, have you tried turning it off and back on again?..........
...or press Ctrl, Alt, Delete at the same time?
Both classic remedies given by overseas tech helplines.[:D]

I love technology but only when it works! Hope you get the laptop sorted soon Skippy. Any more thoughts on the iPad?

The iPad is on hold for the time being as the laptop is more use to me. I might also have to take out a second mobile contract and I found out this morning at the dentist that my crown needs replacing. Add that lot to the wedding and I really don't think I'll be getting an iPad any time soon!!!

Oh all comes at once Skippy. I agree a laptop is a lot more use. Dental treatment is also priority.

Luckily the crown can wait providing I don't mind having a sensitive tooth! When I asked how much it would cost it's £209 for an NHS crown and £430 for a private one! I think I'll be putting up with the tooth for a while longer!

I'm a wimp at the dentist as you know but hope it doesn't give you too much problem prior to your big day x
