I love this forum and being able to help others through difficult times. Advice received from the posters, experts and admin team is second to none. Its so hard having to deal with debt, but we all manage it in the end. From personal experience, I would also have found talking on the phone to someone a great support. I have cheekly contacted another IP who posts regularly , my own IP does have a rep on the forum, but is not so active on the forum. Speaking to this Ip has really helped me, through very difficult and emotional times. Just the sound of their voices gave me comfort and helped me tackle the next day. Is there anyway we could set up some telephone support for people that really need to talk. I for one would be happy to be part of that. Its just an idea. I know Im not an expert in all debt solutions, but then sometimes you dont need to be, its just being able to confide in someone. Perhaps this has been tried before?

Ir's a nice idea Rich and I hate to put a dampner on it but we do get a lot of non genuine posters on here who could phone you up at all hours just to annoy you and make nuisance calls. This is one reason why email addresses and contact numbers aren't allowed.

I have no objection to speaking to people via email but I would not want my phone number given out.

I think it's fine to be able to contact the professionals and I know some of them go above and beyond the call of duty but I personally think that's where it should end.

I totally understand where your coming from Jan, you have lots more experience with the forum than me xx
